Feb 6 2025 - CALL - Episode 9: Walnut

Conversation takes place with JD.  Sarah reports on "some really awful" things her son said to her on the phone.  She says she's mailing out their agreement (for documentary?) today.  Phone meeting with prospective family lawyer named Kate set for Feb 12th.  Sarah says that strange people want to put money on her books, but she prefers for JD to do it and urges him to get his JPay set up.  Sarah wants JD, rather than ineffectual Lana, to ask Brian if he received something that was sent in the mail.

Sarah is now at Lowell where there is no privacy, everything is dirty and inmates do drugs all day.  She is worried if JD set up meeting with Lawyer Kate properly.  Sarah says an inmate named Bree told her Owens was talking bad about her and asks that they contact her (later, when they did, Bree told them it wasn't true.)   PG has emailed, texted and called appellate attorney Josh Adams, no response. Feb 25 2025 - CALL - Episode 17: Subpar and Sensitive

Begins with reading of a Feb 22nd email where Sarah says she has cancer and expresses her frustration over being given advice to be realistic and recognize she's not in the best legal position. Says Owens, Adams and Billie Lane can fuck themselves.  Conversation with JD follows.   Sarah's bloodwork came back "negative," she's going to have an ultrasound.  Sarah is defensive about Lawyer Kate deciding not to take her case.  Sarah complains that the 2 hour meeting was a waste of time and caused her to miss her chance to move to a dorm with A/C.  JD explains that she will only achieve her goals if she learns to be less aggressive and insulting to those in a position to help her.  Sarah asserts that the only way to do that would be to assume everyone she's talking to is subpar and sensitive.  JD says the email she sent to PG was insulting but Sarah doesn't understand how it could be seen that way.

Asks PG to order her a hot meal. Talks about living on his farm someday.

Mar 20 2025 - MOTION.

Sarah files 23 page motion which she later withdraws.  It contains request for $6100 child support she has not received since incarceration.  Also attached is an exhibit showing tablet messages she has written and which clearly show a watermark from the youtube channel of Tanika's 2 Cents.  Three days later, she filed a 7 page replacement motion which removed the request for child support, but contained the stipulation that she be consulted on how to spend any undisbursed funds collected since she became incarcerated.  The watermarked material is no longer attached.

At the Mar 26 hearing, they tried to say that her son was suffering emotionally because of her actions but she thinks it's Brian's fault.  She asks PG how to submit a financial affidavit and if he's received durable power of attorney form yet.  Mentions she has no stamps.  Includes the "bidet" comment.

Apr 28 2025 - CALL - Episode 10: Family Law Hurdles

Sarah can't understand why the court won't order Owens to return papers and wonders if it's the judge's attempt to make her give up on her family case.  She checks on status of Easter gift.  Confirms they have received power of attorney paperwork.  Sarah is working on her financial affidavit with help from two  inmates.  She wants transcript from hearing where Judge Dean told Brian to keep paying alimony but can't order it because they will bill her.  PG offers suggestions but Sarah rejects them all, saying he just needs to order them for her.

April 28 2025 - CALL - Episode 10: Family Law Hurdles Part 2

Discussion of PG's problems getting on approved visitor list. PG suggests she try to come to a settlement with Brian.  Sarah is writing her financial affidavit so that it comes out to $1000 a month.  It will include the food she needs for her low blood sugar and meals to replace the greasy prison food that causes her unnamed digestive issues (for which she previously took Protonix).  She tries to figure out how to get affidavit to PG so he can file.  Sarah needs PG to write a motion for a Guardian At Litem because neither "idiot" Judge Dean nor Judge Jackson have ordered one.  Sarah is still struggling to understand why the Judge rejected her motion for a lawyer and then also refused to make Owens return the files that she needs in order to be her own attorney.

April 28 2025 - CALL - Episode 10: Family Hurdles Part 3

Sarah grills PG on what he's talked to her former attorney Kevin Beck about.  Says Beck wrote her that he is not going to cooperate with her on her appeal.  PG informs Sarah that  Bree doesn't know what Sarah is talking about regarding Owens saying bad things about her.  Sarah asks about Lana reaching out to PG and wants to know if he's responded to her.  She doesn't want him to answer Lana because she is disloyal and only offering to buy Sarah a hot meal so she can make fun of her later online.  Lana alerted PG in her message that his name is misspelled on his visitor's application.

Apr 29 2025 - Sarah files letter to Martell requesting a substantial amount of B. Boone's financial records.

May 4 2025 - CALL - Episode 12: List Review...Please

Sarah asks PG to send a vinyl record to son.  She's irritated that, the day before, Brian didn't want her to phone again after she'd already had four calls with son.  She urges PG to get his power of attorney notarized because they "can't go around flaunting it if it's not official." (She has already flaunted it in Apr 22 Motion to Compel)  Sarah anticipates the Meeting of Attorneys and Unrepresented Parties as a chance to avoid trial.  She is confused by the Certificate of Compliance that Martell filed and tries to figure out if it's a response to her request for additional financial records - looking at it upsets her. Sarah wants PG to send her paperwork in an envelope with his lawyer's name and bar number on it so it will be processed like legal mail - PG declines.  She has written three letters to Billy the investigator asking for her box of discovery and now needs PG to email him.  Sarah needs PG to add credits to her tablet so she can send emails.

May 12 2025 - CALL - Episode 15: The Whole Mouth

Sarah's voice bristles with irritation over PG's lack of progress on her behalf.  PG asks her to have someone else order the Easter gift because these tasks often become complicated and time consuming.  Sarah is upset by this and by the fact that he hasn't filed the Guardian at Litem motion yet (she put this on his plate just two weeks prior on Apr 28th).  PG emphasizes his lack of time and the overwhelming nature of his own life, stressing that he is not getting paid for his help and is trying to support his own family.   He questions why she needs him to file all her motions when she used to do all that on her own.  She explains it was easier in the county jail, plus the clerks at the prison law library treat her badly.  When PG reminds her to focus on making a Parenting Plan and trying to figure out a way to settle out of court, she responds that she was told Martell had already filed his Pre-Trial Statement without her, making it look like once again she refused to participate in mediation.  Sarah tells PG to email Martell to find out what's going on.

May 12 2025 - Sarah exchanges emails with PG [Reddit]

Sarah accuses PG of trying to shame her for asking about the status of the Easter gift and mocks his busy schedule.  PG sends a message that, per his attorney, he cannot file legal items for her.  He will not be her Power of Attorney.  Sarah responds saying he has abandoned her like everyone else.  PG explains that he has helped as much as possible, out of kindness not obligation, but going forward he needs to limit his involvement and focus on the documentary - so long as she refrains from speaking harshly to him.  Sarah says she didn't speak to him harshly, she was just trying to get as many of her questions answered as possible.  She is unsure what she's supposed to do now or if she is allowed to still call him.  She wants to call him the next day so he can catch her up on anything she need to know before her hearing which is in 14 days.

May 15 2025 - Sarah mails her handwritten Guardian at Litem motion from Lowell, it is filed on May 30th.

May 19 2025 - Sarah mails her handwritten financial affidavit from Lowell, it is filed on May 30th.

May 28 2025 - CALL: Episode 13: Reeling It In

Sarah feels unprepared for tomorrow's Hearing.  PG asks if the list of things she needed to have ready was in the judge's pretrial conference order and Sarah agrees that it was but she is behind because she received that document 17 days late.  (Judge filed on Apr 28 and Sarah was speaking about its contents 6 days later).  She is supposed to file a Mandatory Disclosure but doesn't know what that means. It was due by May 5th but she wasn't told in a timely manner (Disclosures mention in March 26 Court Minutes and April 28 Order).  They will ask her why she isn't ready for the hearing and she admits that they will see through her excuse of having no pen and paper.  She doesn't know if she's allowed to bring her tablet to the hearing, but she's going to anyway.  She has to bring her tablet because she hasn't had time to complete any handwritten notes. Sarah is concerned appellate attorney Josh Adams won't meet his filing deadline.  She has sent many letters and wants PG to also contact him.  She discusses a scheme to reduce her sentence to 10 years if she can find out if Kraynick sentenced her to "life" or "natural life."

May 29 2025 - HEARING.

Court admonishes Martell for not following court orders as written regarding Meeting of Attorneys and Unrepresented parties, gives Sarah 30 more days to do her own pre-trial statement.  Court denies Sarah's request for additional financial documents from B. Boone.  Motion for Guardian at Litem denied.  Parties are given 30 days to turn in Parenting Plans.

Sarah disciplined for "lying to staff."  After caught trying to sneak her tablet into her hearing, she claimed she had been given permission by a staff member.

June 1 2025 - CALL - Episode 20: Balls to the Wall

Sarah discusses her Disciplinary Report and the possible repercussions, including being moved to a dorm with no air conditioning.  She tells PG that she needs help completing her Parenting Plan and Pre-Trial Statement because, when she looks at the paperwork, she gets distracted by Martell referring to her as a "murderer."  Sarah mentions needing to write a motion so that she can attend the trial unshackled.  She describes how useless the recourses are at the Law Library.  PG is surprised when she mentions she has pen and paper, but she quickly explains it's only three pieces and a borrowed pen.  He agrees to overnight the paperwork once it's finished in order to give them more time to work on it.  Sarah describes the March 29th hearing and her attempt to file a motion about the prison visitation forms.

June 5 2025 - Disciplinary Hearing. Sarah loses Canteen privileges from 6/5 to 7/4.

June 9 2025 - CALL - Episode 22: Ease My Pain

They discuss the outcome of the Disciplinary Hearing.  Sarah says PG and JD are on her visitation list now.  She has not had time to work on filings.  Sarah feels anxious because she only has two and a half weeks to do her Parenting Plan, Pre-Trial Statement and motions to be unshackled and to close the courtroom to the public.  Sarah's heard that youtubers are planning to come to her family trial to heckle her but PG says he hasn't seen anything like that being said online.  She's been receiving hate mail from someone on her tablet.  The air conditioning is broken so it's too hot for her to get any work done.

June 2025 - Sarah has surgery, possibly between June 13 - 17 as she make no calls during this time.

June 20 2025 - CALL - Episode 14: Multi-Tudeness

After having surgery, Sarah returned to the dorm the evening of June 18th to find that people had taken her bedding, leaving her stuck with an uncomfortable pillow and mattress.  She won't have her tablet back for another week and won't be able to get her Pre-Trial Statement and Parenting Plan done by the deadline.  She's upset because she worked so hard (to the point she got a Disciplinary Report for it) to get Martell sanctioned and to be given extra time to file her documents.  Sarah wants PG to email the Judicial Assistant today to explain her situation without making a global announcement about her surgery and to also ask them to close the courtroom because of the vicious youtubers.  She wants PG to contact the criminal court clerk about Josh Adams.   This call labeled as June 21st on the channel.

June 28 2025 - Parenting Plans and Sarah's Pre-Trial Statement are due.

July 11 2025 - CALL - Episode 4: Ask Me If I Care

PG says he's not going to have time to get her Pre-Trial Statement done, but Sarah says it's just an easy cut and paste job.  Sarah still has more pages to send him.  PG says that he originally expected to be able to have this all done by today, but that is not how Sarah remembers it and she suggests there's something wrong with him.  She's not prepared to do it herself because she has no pen or paper.  She says her other outside resource has not been responding to her and PG says it's probably because they are still mad at her regarding a disagreement over a document.  Sarah responds "ask me if I care."  PG agrees to try to finish the Statement by Monday, but he is concerned about how much work is still required, particularly without the help of the other outside resource.  Sarah says he's making a mountain out of a mole hill.  She is worried that PG is going to disappoint her.  When he protests that characterization, she questions again if there's something wrong with him.

July 17 2025 - CALL - Episode 23: About to Lose it

July 17 2025 - Martell files Parenting Plan.

July 18 2025 - CALL - Episode 2: Prison Life

Sarah expresses frustration with delays in completing her Pre-Trial Statement that are due to having to fix the mistakes made by her other outside resource.  She describes the cruel treatment she experiences from other inmates. She recounts being verbally abused, having an inmate swing from her bunk despite her post-surgery incision, and being mocked for reading her Bible.  She shares that her dorm mate won't let her borrow her deodorant anymore.  Sarah struggles to connect with other inmates because she finds their conversation to be predictable nonsense.  She is grateful to PG and JD regardless of the arguments they have had.   Includes the "Bible Bible Biiiiiible" comment.

July 28 2025 - Josh Adams withdraws from appellate case.

July 28 2025 - Sarah's pre-trial statement is filed (33 pages).

Aug 12 2025 - CALL - Episode 11: Mirror Neurons

Sarah has no stamps so she can't send emails to PG.  She asks about his friend in the hospital but barely acknowledges when PG says he's probably not going to make it.  She has a lien of $70 on her account for printing and mailing the exhibits.  She's mentioning it because he told her to let him know about such things ($$).   PG reminds her that he only said he'd do what he could as he was able.  She has no one but PG she can call for things ($$).  Her brother is having surgery and only sends $20 now and then.  She tried twice to hide the bill at the copy station so they would forget to charge her.  She's not as happy in the Annex as she first was - too hot, fire ants, mean people.   She brings up mirror neurons to explain how the inmates resent her for being young and having a chance at freedom they don't have.  She's not allowed to work in the kitchen because of the knives, but the people there are mean anyway.  Her son let her have it on the phone and is mad she can't be there to help him and hold his hand the first day of High School.  Notable Quotes: "I'm a humble person."  "These awful old ass 70 80 year old women who are going to die in prison are here and they hate me because I'm smiling."  "People are in prison for a reason.  Sometimes they have black holes and empty hearts and their family doesn't want to deal with them anymore." (PG responds "Yep!  Exactly right.  You nailed it.")

Mirror neurons are brain cells that activate both when you perform an action and when you see someone else perform the same action, essentially "mirroring" their behavior in your brain, which helps us understand, learn by imitation, and feel empathy by simulating others' actions and emotions, forming a basic foundation for social connection.

When PG offers to help with her Closing Argument, Sarah responds with a sulky tone and long stretches of silence.  He asks her to stop taking it out on him when she's disappointed with her family case. She expresses that she doesn't feel like she's a priority to him and JD.  She still hasn't gotten any deodorant after a year of asking.  Her account is in the negative because she made copies of her exhibits only because PG had said he would pay for them.  Sarah has heard from others that Josh Adams withdrew.  Someone from CourtTV contacted her and she needs PG to research the person.
